Peace Regional RCMP seek help from the public in locating missing 39-year-old

The Peace Regional RCMP is asking residents to keep their eyes out for a missing man who is believed to have been in Grimshaw the last time he was seen.

According to police, members of the Peace Regional RCMP responded to a well-being check for 39-year-old David John Hallam on December 18th. Law enforcement indicates they were unable to locate Hallam, and are now looking to the public for any information on where he might be.

Police suggest Hallam’s vehicle was abandoned and located by Alberta Conservation Officers at Queen Elizabeth Provincial Park in Grimshaw on October 28th, but otherwise, the last known communication with family or friends was in April of 2024.

Hallam is known to work in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario, generally in “oil field styled” positions.

He is described as a 190-pound male, standing five feet eight inches tall, with a medium build, a short beard, brown eyes, balding, brown salt and pepper hair, glasses, and a light complexion.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Peace Regional RCMP at (780)-624-6611 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
