Meeting on Grimshaw school design plan this evening

The Peace River School Division is hosting a meeting this evening to show off the designs for the new K to 12 school in Grimshaw. Board Chair Darren Kuester says the design drawings are about 90 per cent complete.

Officials including Superintendent Paul Bennett will be on hand this evening to talk about the design drawings and answer questions from the school community.

The school will be attached to the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex in Grimshaw. Kuester says he’s excited that students will have access to the first class facility while also enjoying their new school a year from now. The meeting is being held at the Kennedy Elementary School Gymnasium this evening at 7:30.
