Site C protester arrested for entrance blockade

No charges will be laid against a man arrested at a Site C protest in Fort St. John this morning. The 62 year old was in a group of a dozen protesters at an entrance to the dam site.

BC Hydro Security reported that he was swinging a stick around, blocking vehicles from coming in or out of the area. He was arrested peacefully and held in police custody until the protest was over a couple of hours later.

No one was hurt in the incident and no vehicles were damaged.
