High school wrestlers bring home 18 medals from Wetaskiwin

Local wrestlers have come home from the Wetaskiwin Classic with a major medal haul. The high school students won 10 gold, five silver and three bronze medals against athletes from across the country. In total, 10 members of the Grande Prairie Wrestling Club medalled, with several taking home more than one:

Carson Woodburn – Silver

Tristan Noel – Gold

Kale Spencer – Bronze

Sydney Morris – Bronze

Kaden Link – Gold

High school Novice

Kathleen Eriksen- Silver

Jordan Grey – Gold

Tim Dueck – Bronze

Zach Seguin – Silver

The next challenge will be hosting the Zone 8 Alberta Winter Games trials. They run Saturday at Alexander Forbes School.
