Peace Regional RCMP confirm missing man found deceased after several days of searching

After several days of searching, and a call for public assistance, the Peace Regional RCMP has confirmed that a missing man has been located deceased.

33-year-old Peace River resident Justin Christian was reported missing on December 4th after last being seen on surveillance footage walking northbound on 98th Street in Peace River at around 3:10 a.m.

The RCMP launched a search for Christian on December 6th, which ultimately concluded after police found him deceased on December 9th.

Law enforcement says they appreciate all tips and assistance from the public that came in through the weekend into Monday, along with the numerous businesses and individuals who checked their surveillance cameras to help point police in the right direction.
