Those Grande Prairie neighborhoods who have not yet had any snow cleared from their streets since the city got 15 cm of over a week ago will see the city’s snow removal crews today.
This is the last day of the first residential snow clearing cycle. Any other streets that have not yet been cleared will be taken care of during the second residential cycle, which starts tomorrow. Snow removal typically happens in each neighborhood the day before garbage is picked up.
The last neighborhoods on the list today include Countryside North, Countryside South, Summerside, Country Club, Patterson, and Signature Falls. Residents are asked to avoid parking their vehicles on the street between 8 and 5 a to allow room for snow plows to move through quickly and efficiently.
