Snow Angels helping clear driveways in Clairmont

Any Clairmont residents who have trouble keeping their driveway and sidewalks clear of snow this time of year will be able to get some extra help this winter. County FCSS is looking for both applicants and volunteers for their Clairmont Snow Angel Pilot Project.

You can volunteer as a business, a youth group, a family, a church group, or as an individual to take care of someone’s snow clearing work this winter. Volunteer snow angels will be asked to clear their assigned walkways and driveways within 48 hours of a snowfall in the community.

Anyone who would like to apply for help with their snow removal work can also apply to FCSS. Everyone will be screened and prioritized based on situation and resources.

Anyone who would like to get involved with the snow angel pilot project can do so by contacting the Wellington Resource Centre in Clairmont.
