Armed suspects threaten employee, rob Mission Heights store

An employee at a convenience store on 84 Ave in Mission Heights had a scary moment when the store was robbed at knife point by two men Wednesday evening.

RCMP say around 9 pm two men entered the store. One was armed with a knife and held it to the employees throat, demanding that they open the cash drawer. The other suspect filled a bag with an undisclosed amount of cigarettes, lotto tickets, and cash. The employee wasn’t hurt in the incident. The first suspect is described as about 6′ tall and was wearing a black hoodie or jacket, a red handkerchief over his face, bright blue sneakers, and jeans.

The second man was roughly the same height wearing a camo style jacket, jeans, and white and orange sneakers. Anyone with information on the robbery or the suspects is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
