Keep vehicles off streets for snow plows

In order to clear as much snow off of the region’s roads as possible, residents are asked not to park on the street when plows are expected in their neighbourhood.

City of Grande Prairie crews are out from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and if they can’t make it through, it’s possible your road may not be cleared. Neighbourhoods in the southwest part of the city (Westpointe, Pinnacle Ridge, O’Brien Lake, Mission Heights, and Stone Ridge) will be plowed tomorrow, and anyone missed today will be touched next week.

In the County they’re ahead of schedule thanks to an extra grader and operator approved in this year’s budget. Watch for snow removal signs and crews in Westlake and Whispering Ridge Thursday.
