UPDATE: Alberta 511 is reporting that wb Highway 43 is reopened to traffic without detours.

Westbound Highway 43 is closed to traffic near Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation as police continue to investigate a motor vehicle collision on Highway 43 involving an ATV.

According to officials, eastbound lanes remain open with one lane being set up for westbound traffic. Police are urging drivers to find and use an alternate route. No further details about the incident have been made public.
