Parking bans in neighbourhoods begin Monday as residential snow clearing rolls out

Parking bans on permanent snow routes and residential snow clearing will begin in the City of Grande Prairie on November 25th.

Parking bans will restrict parking on permanent snow routes on Priority One and Two roads from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday until the ban is lifted.

All neighbourhoods have been assigned to a “Week A” or “Week B” schedule, operating on a two-week location, with work completed by contracted crews from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The first round of residential clearing will begin in Week A neighbourhoods, with Hillside, Mountview, and VLA/Montrose being the first to receive services on the 25th.

The full list of Week A neighbourhoods includes those mentioned, along with Patterson, South Patterson, and Southview on Tuesday, Avondale, College Park, and Swanavon on Wednesday, Kensington, Mission Heights, O’Brien Lake, and Stone Ridge on Thursday, followed by Arbour Hills, Gateway, Northridge, and Royal Oaks on Friday.
