An 18 year old man has been charged with second degree murder for the shooting death of a 35 year old man on the Atikameg First Nation. Arlen Chase Chalifoux was taken into custody on Wednesday, and will appear in High Prairie court on November 16th.
Local RCMP responded to a home around 3 a.m. Tuesday after hearing someone had been shot. They passed away before officers arrived, and RCMP Major Crimes was called in to help with the investigation.
