RCMP Major Crimes has been called in to investigate the shooting death of a 24 year old man in Peace River. Peace Regional RCMP was called to a local home around 7 p.m. tonight.
The victim had already passed away but no further information has been released. The Peace River Forensic Identification Unit is also investigating with Dog Services.
The death comes just 16 hours after a 35 year old man was found dead on the Atikameg First Nation near High Prairie. Police were also responding to a report of someone having been shot.
