Hythe Bigway robbery headed to trial

A trial date has been set for the man accused of trying to rob the Hythe Bigway grocery store.On September 21st, a man with a gun demanded money from a cashier, but left empty handed before police got there.

No one was injured and RCMP later arrested Angus Byron Ferguson of Horse Lake. He is charged with several weapons offences, including robbery with a firearm, along with breach of a recognizance and obstruction.

A trial is scheduled for February 11, 2016.
