GP Storm announce new trade acquisition, players of the week awards

Grande Prairie Storm management staff have been busy over the past week, with the latest announcement coming on November 8th, showing off a new addition to the team.

The Storm announced on social media the acquisition of AJHL rookie defenceman Ryan Seeley from the Drumheller Dragons.

Seeley joined the AJHL as a Dragon during the 2024-25 season and has had a relatively quiet start to his career, putting up two assists and serving 25 minutes in the sin bin across 11 games.

Despite this, the 2006-born defenceman has shown some promise as a solid passer, consistently putting up more than 10 assists per season while playing at the AA and AAA level.

The altest acquisition isn’t the only noteworthy announcement coming out of the Storm office either, with Storm forward Will Harris winning the AJHL Player of the Week, and backup goalie Keagin Kelln taking home Defensive Player of the Week.
