Masked man robs Crystal Spirits Liquor Store with knife

There has been yet another armed robbery at a business in Grande Prairie. RCMP says a masked man with a knife robbed the Crystal Spirits Liquor Store around 7:15 Friday night.

The suspect reportedly walked behind the cashier’s desk, showed the weapon, and demanded money. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident, but the man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his mid 20s to early 30s. He was wearing a mask over his mouth and nose, a grey hoodie with a dark vest, blue jeans and dark gloves. The description also matches the suspect in two recent robberies at the Avondale Convenience Store.

Anyone with information on this crime or any of the recent armed robberies in the city is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
