FCC provides funding for Falher playground project

A public playground and park being built in Falher is getting a financial boost from Farm Credit Canada. Through it’s AgriSpirit Fund, FCC is giving almost a million dollars to a number of community groups and their rural capital projects across the country.

The Falher and Area Beautification and Leisure Activities Society is getting a $25,000 piece of that pie, the largest amount available and the also the project receiving the greatest amount of funding in Alberta. Other projects FCC is supporting with the AgriSpirit Fund include hospitals and medical centres, fire and rescue equipment, and libraries.

Over the past dozen years FCC has spent nearly $10 million supporting over a thousand rural capital projects across Canada.
