St Joe’s Celtics claim Peace Bowl

The St. Joe’s Celtics have claimed their third Peace Bowl in four years. The team won the Mighty Peace Football League final 42-20 against the Sexsmith Sabres Saturday. This was also the second time in three years that the two teams have faced off in the Peace Bowl.

The Celtics will now move onto to play in the first-round regional semi-final against the Paul Kane Blues on November 14. The St. Albert team will be travelling to Grande Prairie to play at the CKC field. The Sabres, meanwhile, are moving on to play the Vermillion Marauders on November 14.
