City of GP, GP-RAVO hosting annual International Volunteer Day breakfast

The Grande Prairie Regional Association of Volunteer Organizations and the City of Grande Prairie are hosting a special breakfast to honour the volunteers who donate their time to make their community a better place.

The occasion is an annual affair and the City of GP and GP-RAVO will present several awards to individuals, organizations, and young people who have made a significant impact in the community.

Six awards are up for grabs in categories such as Leaders of Tomorrow, Individual Volunteer of the Year, Corporate Volunteer of the Year, Outstanding Citizens of the Year, the George Repka Outstanding Achievement Award, and the Bill Bowes Volunteer Organization of the Year.

All volunteers, community organizations, and supporters of local volunteerism are invited to attend the breakfast, which is scheduled for International Volunteer Day on December 5th at 7:00 a.m. in the Golden Age Centre.
