Valleyview-born MP Rona Ambrose is throwing her hat into the ring to temporarily head the federal Conservatives. The outgoing Health Minister has announced her run for the interim leadership.
Ambrose has held eight different cabinet positions, representing Edmonton-Spruce Grove since 2004. She was elected to Sturgeon River-Parkland on October 19th.
The Tory caucus will choose from the six candidates announced so far next Thursday.
