$100,000 may seem like a steep fundraising goal, but it’s one the United Way Alberta Northwest is undertaking over the next seven days.
Businesses from across the region have signed up to help during United Way Week, like Crouse’s Cleaners. They’ll be donating one dollar from every item dropped off on October 30th.
The local United Way supports 23 community partners and has a $1.3 million fundraising goal to meet their needs this year. An official proclamation breakfast was held at the Stonebridge hotel this morning.
