Arrests made in Wembley stolen property discovery

RCMP have arrested two people following the discovery of drugs and stolen property at a Wembley home over the weekend.

On Sunday Beaverlodge RCMP executed a warrant at the Wembley home and found two stolen trucks, a holiday trailer, and multiple firearms. They also seized an unspecified amount of cocaine and fentanyl. Dean Stafford and Andrea Hurtig have since been arrested and are both facing numerous charges including possession of stolen property over $5000, possession of a controlled substance, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Stafford was previously wanted on 10 outstanding warrants. They are both scheduled to appear in court on October 21.
