Two injured in Highway 43 rollover

Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in a single vehicle rollover that sent two people to hospital Tuesday night. Grande Prairie RCMP says a light brown Ford truck was driving on Highway 43 near Wembley around 6:20 p.m. when it lost control and rolled into a ditch.

The passenger was wearing a seat belt and had to be rescued from inside the vehicle, while the driver was ejected. They were both taken to the Q-E two for treatment, but the driver was later transported to hospital in Edmonton.
