A man has been found dead in a vehicle near the Mac’s Convenience Store at 100th Avenue and 96th Street. Grande Prairie RCMP responded to reports of shots fired at 9612 100th Avenue around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Police found the deceased slumped over the steering wheel of a blue vehicle parked behind a set of townhouse Its windows appeared to be shattered.
RCMP Major Crime Unit is now investigating what it’s calling a homicide with local officers. Staff Sergeant Brent Meyer says they’re appealing to the public to help identify anyone involved. If you have information, contact the Grande Prairie detachment or Crime Stoppers.
