$100K lotto EXTRA win for Grande Prairie man

A Grande Prairie man is $100,000 richer after winning the September second EXTRA draw. Andrew Stuart bought the WESTERN 6-49 and EXTRA ticket at a Mac’s convenience store in Valleyview, but didn’t check it until a couple days after the draw in GP.

He says he went in to get his morning coffee and when the first ticket he checked was a winner, he left without checking the others. When he found out he won Stuart says he couldn’t believe it.

His luck comes just a few months after the Fritsma family of Grande Prairie took home $17.3 million in the June 17th Lotto 6-49 draw.
