Two Liquor Depot stores were hit by armed robbers over the long weekend. On Friday, a man wearing a black scarf over his face threatened the clerk at the 92nd Avenue location with a weapon, demanding that the till be emptied.
Then around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday morning, a woman entered the store on 92nd Street with a knife, and also threatened an employee while demanding she fill a bag with money. Fortunately, neither clerk was hurt.
The suspect in the Friday robbery is described as a Caucasian man and 40 to 50 years old, wearing black pants, jacket, scarf and toque, along with dark sunglasses. The suspect in Tuesday’s robbery is described as a heavy set woman around 5’5″ to 5’7″ with acne scars and unhealthy teeth. She was wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, a baseball cap, black gloves and red and white skate shoes.
