Have your say on parks and recreation in the Grande Prairie region

Some 8,000 randomly selected homes in both the city and county of Grande Prairie will be receiving questionnaires sometime this month about recreation opportunities in the region.

The two municipalities are working on the creation of a joint master plan that will help guide the development of parks programs, services, and facilities in the future. Homes in Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, Wembley, Hythe, and the MD of Greenview will be included as well.

The survey is also expected to be available online this month for anyone else interested in providing feedback to improve recreation and parks programs. The Recreation Master Plan is scheduled for completion sometime next spring.
