Hockey Alberta hosting ladies only coaching clinic

The Grande Prairie Minor Hockey association is hosting a clinic for women interested in coaching hockey this winter. The Coach 2 course qualifies participants to teach hockey to kids 9 years or older and will emphasize basic skills and the importance of having players develop confidence, self-esteem, and a love for the game.

The clinic is being offered for free from 9 am to 2:30 on October 31 at the Coca-Cola Centre. At least a dozen participants are required in order for the clinic to happen. You can sign up through Hockey Alberta.
