A man has passed away after an incident at a Suncor Energy facility in northern Alberta.
Emergency crews were called to the oilsands site around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night.
The man was severely injured and rushed to a health centre in Fort McMurray, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Details of what happened and the victim’s identity has not been released.
An investigation into the fatal incident will be conducted.
