There have been two generous donations by energy companies to the County of Grande Prairie this week. The structures at Demmitt Campground are in need of repair, and Veresen Midstream has stepped up to help. The natural gas business has given $15,000 to the County of Grande Prairie for their reconstruction.
At the same time, Pembina Pipelines Corporation gave a cheque for $3,000 dollars to the Bezanson Fire Department at its Fire Prevention Week open house. It will go towards buying a hydraulic pedal cutter, which can be used to cut brake pedals, seat brackets, steering wheels and head rests if needed at motor vehicle accidents.
