Police in Dawson Creek are investigating an attempted home invasion that led to shots being fired early this morning. A call came in to RCMP just before 6 a.m. when several people were trying to get into a home on 119th Avenue.
By the time officers arrived, several shots had been fired, but no one inside at the time was hurt. It’s believed this was a targeted attacked as the people who live at the home are believed to be involved in the drug trade.
Any witnesses, or anyone who may have seen people or vehicles leaving the area, are asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
