The Grande Prairie Men’s Division III Centaurs have been eliminated from the Edmonton Rugby Union playoffs. The team lost the semi final match up 35 to 22 against St. Albert Saturday.
The Centaurs qualified for the semis after a good showing in the quarter finals when they defeated the Lloydminster Reapers 32 to 27.
The St. Albert team, meanwhile, is on to the Edmonton Rugby Union championship game on September 26. They will be playing the Edmonton Pirates who finished first place in the season standings.
