A 25 year old woman was shot in her lower leg just outside of Grimshaw Monday night.
Peace Regional RCMP found her in a parked blue mini van around 8 p.m. on Highway 2A. She was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
At this time, police do not have a description of a suspect, but believe this wasn’t a random attack. An investigation into the shooting continues, and anyone who may have information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
