Frost advisory issued for Grande Prairie, Peace River regions

A frost advisory has been issued for most of the Peace Region. Environment Canada says calm winds and clear skies will bring freezing temperatures to west-central Alberta. The advisory is in place for the Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview and Peace River – Fairview – Manning regions.

Some crops in the area could be damaged, and residents are recommended to protect any sensitive trees or plants. Here in Grande Prairie, we’re looking at a low of zero degrees tonight with a risk of frost.
