County Fire Service hazardous materials team respond to truck rollover on Emerson Trail at Range Road 94

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area of Emerson Trail and Range Road 94 as County Regional Fire crews have been deployed to a tanker truck rollover.

According to the county, fire crews from the Hythe, Clairmont, La Glace, and Wembley stations are actively responding to a rollover of a tanker truck involving dangerous goods.

Officials say no injuries have been reported; however, Emerson Trail is closed between Range Roads 93 and 95.

The truck is reportedly carrying sour condensate, which is spilling from the tank. The fire service’s hazardous materials team is on the scene to mitigate the spill, which officials say poses no immediate risk to the public at this time.

First responders will remain on scene for an undetermined period of time to mitigate the spill.
