One city golf course nearing its opening date

Bear Creek Golf Course appears to be very close to opening for the season. General manager and superintendent Ranson Lasell says the course weathered very well over the course of the winter.

“We are not too far away right now.  I am hoping that if we get a little bit of co-operation with the weather over the next two or three days that we can have nine holes open in two or three days.”

Lasell adds they could have the full 18 open in about a week, again if the weather co-operates.
