Five HFCRD students heading to Ottawa for National Science Fair

Students from the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division’s St. Stephens school in Valleyview are set to attend the National Science Fair in Ottawa.

According to the HFCRD, five students, Janessa Bourlon, Elianna Eagles, Hannah Klinck, Isabella Pozniak, and Paige Trofimenkoff all qualified for the Canada-Wide Science Fair thanks to their efforts and interest in science at school.

The five young scholars qualified during the Peace Country Regional Science Fair in Peace River in March.

The six-day science fair will feature students from around the country competing for a range of awards including scholarships, while celebrating scientific excellence, creativity, and potential societal impact.

The event is scheduled from May 26th to the 31st at Carleton University in Ottawa.
