UPDATE: Missing elderly woman found in Ontario

UPDATE: Police in Hanmer, Ontario have located a 72 year old woman who was missing from the Grande Prairie area. Patricia Ostrom was last heard from on Tuesday, September 1.

Family say she normally travels with them and her oxygen tank. Ostrom was found safe and unharmed in the community just north of Sudury, Ontario.

A 72 year old woman has been reported missing from the Peace region. Patricia Ostrom lives in Grande Prairie and left a phone message on Tuesday saying she was going to Peace River.

She hasn’t been heard from since, and left behind the oxygen tank she needs to use. Her family is concerned, as she normally doesn’t go anywhere without them.

Ostrom is described as Causacian, 4’5″, 80 pounds with short dark hair. Anyone who has seen or spoken to her is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
