The leader of Alberta’s opposition party is in the Peace region today and tomorrow. Wildrose leader Brian Jean is on a month long tour of the province and his stops in Valleyview this evening and in Grande Prairie Wednesday are among the last.
Grande Prairie-Smoky Wildrose MLA Todd Loewen is based out of Valleyview, and Jean will be hosting a barbecue at his home this evening. The two will be arriving in Grande Prairie tomorrow.
They will be hosting a get together in the back room of Maddhatters from 7 to 9 p.m. The event is open to anyone over the age of 18 who would like an opportunity to meet the party’s leader or our local MLA.
The northwestern leg of Jean’s tour is also expected to include stops in Clairmont to meet with the County of Grande Prairie and Whitecourt.
