A child has been shot and killed at a home south of Grande Cache. RCMP was called to a rural acreage around 10:45 a.m. Monday for a report of an accidental discharge of a firearm.
Two children under the age of 12 were involved, and one was taken to hospital where they later passed away.
Sergeant Josée Valiquette with RCMP K Division says officers are investigating the matter and Child Services has been notified as per police protocol.
