Spectators will be having an awful lot of fun while waiting for Tour of Alberta racers to cross the finish line on September 2nd and 3rd. There will be festivals on both race days, at the Eastlink Centre during Stage 1 and at Evergreen Park during Stage 2.
There are activities planned to keep the little ones entertained, as well as things like bubble bump soccer, gold panning and live music at the Eastlink Centre. The Evergreen Park party on September 3-rd will have a decidedly more ‘rural’ feel to it as there will be horse and wagon rides and a cow train for the kids.
Both festivals will include beer gardens, the Subway Zone, and the EllisDon Autograph Alley where fans will have an opportunity to meet their favourite racers following the conclusion of each day’s stage.
