North Peace Navigators seeking new GM and head coach

Darcy Haugen has had an impressive run with the North Peace Navigators, winning the North West Junior Hockey League Championship 5 times and being named coach of the year three times.

Haugen is now moving on to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, where he will be taking over as General Manager and Head Coach of the Humbolt Broncos. The Navs Club President Alberta Cooper says the team is grateful for the time they had with Haugen as their head coach and GM, but says the team will continue to work hard to put out a great product.

The club is in the process of interviewing candidates for Haugen’s replacement. They hope to have someone hired by their tryout camp which runs September 4-th to 6-th.
