UPDATE: Dawson Creek RCMP looking for suspects in electronics heist

UPDATE: Some of the $50,000 worth of electronics equipment that was recently stolen in Dawson Creek has been recovered. RCMP say that 22 cell phones and a Nikon Camera were recovered in a stolen vehicle in the North Okanagan.

The equipment was taken from the AudioTronics store in Dawson Creek on August 16 and loaded into a stolen vehicle by two suspects.

Anyone who may have information on the theft or the suspects is asked to contact Dawson Creek RCMP or Crimestoppers.

$50,000 worth of electronics equipment was stolen from a store in Dawson Creek over the weekend. Police there say they received a complaint about a break and enter at the AudioTronics store on Sunday.

They were able to obtain surveillance footage which shows two suspects entering the store and stealing electronic equipment and cellular devices. Police say the stolen good were then loaded into a vehicle that was stolen from a location between Dawson Creek and Fort St. John earlier on.

Mounties are hoping the public will be able to help them in identifying the two men. Anyone who might recognize them is asked to contact Dawson Creek RCMP or Crimestoppers.
