Flames destroy home in Patterson

A home in the Patterson neighborhood was destroyed by fire early this morning. The fire department was called to the two story home in the area of 78 avenue and 94 street around 1:30 this morning.

They arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames, along with a detached garage and some trees in the front yard. Crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading to any neighboring homes or vehicles.

The flames brought under control about a half an hour later and when fire fighters searched the damaged building they found no evidence that anyone was or had been in the home.

A fire investigator has been called to begin looking into what started the fire. No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze.
