A man was arrested with a significant amount of drugs outside the Grimshaw Rodeo this weekend. Peace Regional RCMP stopped a vehicle outside the entrance to the Queen Elizabeth Provincial Park around 9:45 p.m. Friday night.
A search turned up illegal drugs packaged for distribution, including marijuana, magic mushrooms, Ketamine, cocaine, LSD and MDMA, along with a large amount of cash.
24 year old James Diebold of St. Isidore is facing five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of proceeds of crime. He is scheduled to be in court in Peace River on August 24th.
