Vehicles of interest in High Prairie homicide

An autopsy has confirmed that the death of a 20 year old male found unconscious at a High Prairie gas station was a homicide. Ryan Joseph Ellefson was taken to hospital with injuries in the early morning hours of July 29th, where he later passed away.

Police are looking to speak with anyone who had contact with him that night, as well as anyone who may have been in the area of the Esso between 3 and 3:30 a.m. or saw an altercation. RCMP has identified three vehicles of interest, and want to hear from the people who were in them.

They include a dark coloured, possibly blue, older model Dodge Dakota pickup truck, a newer model dark coloured Dodge or Chrysler minivan, and a newer model, light coloured, possibly white or silver Dodge or Chrysler minivan.
