Roof replacement for Beaverlodge Senior Citizens Association

The Beaverlodge Senior Citizens Association is celebrating its 40th anniversary next year, and will do so with a brand new roof. Plans are in the works to replace the drop-in facility on 10th Street’s shingles with metal.

The project has gotten a boost from the federal government to the tune of $6,000. MP Chris Warkentin has also made funding announcements for Hythe Memorial Arena and Clarkson Hall at Evergreen Park this week out of the 150th anniversary infrastructure program, and another is scheduled for Friday at Rycroft Agricultural Hall.
