UPDATE: Highway 2 has been cleared. Police say preliminary investigation has revealed that thick fog and poor visibility contributed to the cause of the crash. Three vehicles were involved and two men were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
All lanes of Highway 2 are currently blocked at Range Road 55 due to a multi-vehicle collision. A detour is in place and delays are expected.
Grande Prairie RCMP is investigating.
