Work on the storm sewer system on 91B Street near Crystal Lake Drive is underway and is expected to last several weeks.
The City of Grande Prairie says it has contracted the work out, and crews are on site replacing two storm manholes and approximately 35 meters of pipe connecting them.
Drivers are being asked to refrain from parking near the construction area as it will be partially congested with equipment and construction materials. Drivers also being asked to adhere to all signage and slow down when approaching the area.
Weather permitting, the work should wrap up by October 31st.
