A 23-year-old Grande Prairie man is facing a trio of drug-related charges following a sizable seizure by the Grande Prairie RCMP Municipal Drug Unit.
According to police, a multi-month-long investigation led them to execute a search warrant at a Grande Prairie home on September 22nd, where they allegedly seized 6.5 kilograms of meth, 945 grams of cocaine, one gram of fentanyl, and 25 kilograms of suspected buffing agent.
Zachery Edwards-Swanson is facing three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking charges in connection to the seizure. The 23-year-old has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on October 2nd.
